TUKWILA -- A sold-out crowd of 4,500 saw the Sounders Women roll to a 4-0 shutout of the Santa Clarita Blue Heat in a USL W-League game at Starfire Sports Complex on Sunday.
The match was the last for U.S. national-team members Richland native Hope Solo, Alex Morgan, Sydney Leroux and Megan Rapinoe as Sounders in 2012 as they'll now prepare for the London Olympics.
Leroux scored two goals (57th and 63rd minutes), and Morgan had a goal and an assist. Veronica Perez scored the first goal and Rapinoe had two assists.
The Sounders outshot the Blue Heat 22-5.
Solo, playing 81 minutes in goal, made one save, as did backup Kate Hultin.
The Sounders (6-1-1) lead the Colorado Rush by three points for second place in the Western Conference.
