EVERETT -- The Hanford and Moses Lake varsity cheerleading squads earned championships at the state cheerleading finals held Feb. 4 at Comcast Arena in Everett.
The Falcons, who were the reigning Large 3A champs, defended their crown with a score of 233 and the Chiefs posted a 221 score to earn the Large 4A title.
Hanford will next compete in the Universal Cheerleaders Association's National High School Cheerleading Championship this weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
