Ex-NFL lineman Kupp to speak at Kennewick church

KENNEWICK -- Yakima's Jake Kupp will be the featured speaker at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Leadership for Life series sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church at 2001 West Kennewick Avenue.

Kupp, a graduate of the University of Washington, played guard for more than 10 years in the National Football League.

He was drafted by Dallas but spent most of his time with the New Orleans Saints. He also had a stint with Washington.

Kupp is an entrepreneur and CEO of his own company in Yakima. He is also an elder in the Yakima Presbyterian Church

Last year's speaker in the Leadership for Life series was Vince Lombardi, Jr., son of the legendary coach.

There is no admission charge, but tickets are required. Tickets can be obtained at any Sun Mart or at the KFPC office.
