Iza All Dat N More sets track record at Sun Downs

KENNEWICK -- It took a track record Saturday to beat favored Hannibal Lector in the $2,550 Sun Downs Speed Sprint at 250 yards at Benton Franklin Fairgrounds.

Iza All Dat N More, ridden by Ruben Camacho, had a clean start and finished in 13.13 seconds -- a half-length ahead of Hannibal Lector, which won the Boekenoogen Memorial on April 3.

In the Dick Monahan American Quarter Horse Association Maiden Challenge trials at 350 yards, Ben Chavis rode Vodka Soda No Fruit to the fastest time at 17.69 seconds.

Nikeela Black rode four winners Saturday, as an estimated crowd of 1,200 wagered $49,321 for the day.

Today's nine-race card features the Dorothy Adams Buttons and Bows Handicap at 4 furlongs, as Lucky to Be a Riot -- a Lynn Homer horse -- is the oddsmaker's favorite.

Also on tap is the AQHA Pfizer Starter Allowance Challenge trials at 350 yards with 12 horses entered.

First post is at 1:30 p.m.

Trey Fecta: Trey lost $34.60 on Saturday, as the original (and imaginary) bankroll of $500 is now down to $461.40.

Today, let's start with $5 across the board on The Fire Fly, and don't forget the $2 first half of the Daily Double.

Trey's picking Silky Chumaree for the second half of the daily double in the second race. He doesn't know what it means, but he likes the sound of it. He's also doing an exacta box with Silky Chumaree, Slews Aneata and Irish Kiot.

In the third, it's a $4 quinella with Cowboys First Review and McFlash.

For the fourth, he's boxing a trifecta of Fierce Bookey, Kipas Star and Dash With Destiny.

In the fifth, Air Pegasus -- if he can stay grounded -- is the pick at $2 across the board.

Star's Promise and Doozyburg get a $2 exacta box in the sixth, while Victorys Wicked Lad and Beda King are put together for a $5 quinella in the seventh.

Trey is taking Trash In The Air in the first half of the late double in the ninth, and boxing him with Keepin Class and One More Jump for a trifecta.

Finally, in the ninth, Easter Sonny Boy gets the call for the second half of the late double. Plus he's taking $5 across the board on Easter Sonny Boy.

That's $77 in wagers.
