FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Forward Abby Wambach and goalkeeper Hope Solo are on the roster for a U.S. women's soccer team's training camp after missing the Four Nations Tournament in China because of injuries.
Wambach missed the tournament because of a heel injury.
Solo, the No. 1 U.S. goalkeeper and Richland graduate, has been sidelined since right shoulder surgery in September.
Thirty-two players will train in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., from Thursday through Feb. 9. Coach Pia Sundhage will then announce her 23-woman roster for the Algarve Cup in Portugal, where the Americans play Japan (March 2), Finland (March 4) and Norway (March 7).
