MADISON, Ind. -- The U-1 Oh Boy! Oberto, driven by Steve David, was the fastest qualifier on the Ohio River at the Lucas Oil Indiana Governor's Cup in Madison, Ind.
David drove the hometown boat to a top speed of 154.575 mph on the 2 1/2-mile course.
Dave Villwock drove the U-96 Spirit of Qatar to a second-place speed of 153.192, and J.Michael Kelly and the U-7 Graham Trucking was thrid at 151.092.
Eleven of the 13 boats entered have qualified.

Only the U-5 Formulaboats.com and the U-57 -- a third boat added by team owner Ted Porter and being driven by Jimmy Shane this weekend -- have not qualified.
There will be three heat races today.
