CASPER, Wyo. -- Central Wyoming College's Ty Breuer moved into the lead in bareback riding at the College National Finals Rodeo.
Breuer has a total of 236.5 points on three rides -- eight points ahead of Missouri Valley College's Kyle Brennecke in second. Winn Ratliff from McNeese State won the third round of bareback riding with an 82-point ride. That moves him into the top 12 and qualifies him to compete in the national championship.
Panhandle State's Jordan Muncy-Taton holds the lead in breakaway roping with a total of 7.7 seconds on three runs. student also leads barrel racing after a 14.36-second run Friday night. She has a total time of 43.64 seconds and is followed by last year's national champion, South Dakota State's Rachel Tiedeman with 43.66 seconds.
The CNFR's final round will begin tonight.
