Kamiakin freshman Michelle Fletcher capped her comeback from December wrist surgery Saturday, winning the all-around title at the 4A Eastern Regional gymnastics championships at Southridge High.
Fletcher won the vault and floor exercise to finish with 36.70 points, beating teammate Kayla Curtis by more than a full point for the title and the region's lone state berth.
Curtis, a junior who was the defending all-around champion, won the uneven bars title and also qualified for state on the balance beam and floor.
Mead won the team title with 169.85 points, with Kamiakin third and Richland fourth.

The Braves will send two other gymnasts to next weekend's state meet at the Tacoma Dome -- Gabby Potenik on the vault, and Danielle Cuevas on the bars and floor. Richland's Sami Lehmann qualified on the vault.
