Ty France hit his first professional home run, one of three round-trippers for the Tri-City Dust Devils during Sunday’s 7-3 Northwest League win in Spokane.
France made his two-run homer count, too, breaking a 3-3 tie with two outs in the seventh inning. Austin Allen blasted another two-run shot in the top of the ninth for Tri-City.
Spokane’s Dylan Moore hit his fifth home run of the year in the first, giving the Indians a 3-0 lead before the Dust Devils scrapped back with seven unanswered runs.
Carlos Belen added his fourth homer of the year for Tri-City in the top of the fourth, cutting the Indians’ lead to 3-2. Jose Carlos Urena drove in Peter Van Gansen with a two-out single in the fifth off Blake Bass to tie the score at 3. Bass (1-3) took the loss for Spokane.

Urena continues to lead the NWL with 40 RBIs. He and Justin Pacchioli finished with two hits.
Wilson Santos (1-0) collected the win for the Dust Devils (6-5), who remained in a first-place tie with Everett (6-5). Tri-City relievers Sam Holland and Phil Maton combined for two perfect innings.
