A day off did the Tri-City Dust Devils some good.
The Dust Devils (2-5) snapped a four-game Northwest League losing streak with a 7-4 road win over the Yakima Bears (3-4) on Tuesday at County Stadium.
Kyle Von Tungeln, in his first game back since July 22, went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, and Rosell Herrera and Tom Murphy drove in two runs apiece.
The Bears got three runs off Tri-City reliever Michael Wolford in the bottom of the ninth before Chris Dennis came on to record the final out.
Tri-City starter Roberto Padilla (2-1) got the win, allowing just one unearned run over five innings. Austin Platt (0-1) took the loss for Yakima after giving up five runs in 12⁄3 innings.
