VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Just when it seemed like the Tri-City Dust Devils were headed for their third consecutive miserable day at the plate, they broke out the lumber.
Jayson Langfels hit a solo homer in the seventh and a two-run triple in the eighth, powering Tri-City to a 6-4 win over the host Vancouver Canadians on Sunday.
It was part of a five-run outburst in the last three innings that dug the Dust Devils out of a 3-1 hole.
The win kept Tri-City from being swept in five games at Vancouver. The Dust Devils return home today to start a five-game set with Salem-Keizer to close out the regular season.

Langfels led off the seventh with his fifth home run of the summer. But the Dust Devils did all their damage in the eighth with two out thanks to a pair of walks that set the table.
Tyler Massey finished 3-for-5 for Tri-City, which got a solid five-inning start from Chris Jensen.
