Hanford loss creates logjam in 3A

RICHLAND -- Alison Alderman capped a busy first half with her goal about a minute before the break, and West Valley made the one-goal lead stand up through a scoreless second half for a 2-1 victory at Hanford on Saturday.

Alderman's shot came a few minutes after Hanford's Deanna Quadrel knotted the game at a goal each off an assist from Haille Heid. The Rams struck quickly in the CBBN 3A contest, with Sandy Hanses connecting in the first minute.
