Prosser rolls past East Valley

Tanner Bolt completed 17 of 23 passes for 239 yards and five touchdowns, and he also added a 7-yard touchdown run as the Prosser Mustangs rolled to 48-7 Central Washington Athletic Conference football victory over visiting East Valley of Yakima on Saturday.

Bolt connected with eight different receivers, led by Roy Borrego (2 catches, 55 yards, TD) and Javier Diaz (2-54, TD). Michael Kernan chippped in a rushing and receiving touchdown for Prosser, which rolled up 365 yards from scrimmage.

EPHRATA 18, OTHELLO 15: Quarterback Quint Ostrowski hit Jake Oxos on a 10-yard slant route for the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Tiger defense clamped down in the waning minutes, keeping Othello away from the scoreboard.

KIONA-BENTON 64, HIGHLAND 0: Tanner Cook rushed 21 times for 127 yards and five touchdowns, and Vladimir Rizin scored three more touchdowns as the Bears stomped the host Scotties in a nonleague matchup.

Rizin started Ki-Be’s 33-point first-quarter outburst, returning a punt 43 yards for a touchdown. The Bears defense held Highland to just 18 yards from scrimmage.
