All season long, the Kamiakin Braves have used big plays to put teams away.
Friday evening at the Tacoma Dome, the big plans went against them as Bellevue won the 3A state championship 38-0.
It was the third straight title for the Wolverines and their eighth in 10 years.
Latrelle Dukes and Ari Morales each topped 100 yards rushing, and the Wolverines had scoring plays of 55, 77 and 34 yards in the second quarter to blow the game open before the half.

Bellevue scored a touchdown on its first possession. Then six turnovers, including four interceptions, took Kamiakin out of its game. The Wolverines scored on each of the six turnovers.
The 38-point margin is the largest in 3A championship history, topping Prosser's 35-point loss to Ferndale in the 2005 game and Mark Morris' loss to Arlington in 1979.
