Southridge senior WR/DB Clayton Homme has made a verbal commitment to the University of Idaho for next season.
Homme made his choice after visiting the Moscow campus this weekend and taking in the Vandals' 20-14 victory over New Mexico State on Saturday.
"I was talking it over with my dad (Southridge assistant coach Ted Homme) and my brothers," Homme said. "I went there for summer camp, then went up there again this weekend. I like the coaches a lot. I like the atmosphere there, so I decided to do it."
Homme, who also was considering Central Washington and Eastern Washington, finished the regular season with 37 catches for 481 yards (13.0 average) and five touchdowns.

He also is among the league leaders with five interceptions.
While he plays wide receiver for the Suns, Homme said the Vandals are likely to move the 6-foot-5, 200-pounder to tight end.
