Hanford’s Luke Thompson and Sierra Troxel earned the singles championships, and Falcons Quinten Dicken and Shane Sandlin won the boys doubles title on Monday in the CBBN 3A district tennis tournament at Southridge.
Thompson won by default against West Valley’s Aaron Farmer and Troxel swept Eastmont’s Bekah Waterhouse in straight sets.
And for their victory, Dicken and Sandlin put away their Wildcat opponents 6-0, 6-1.
Hanford (boys) and Southridge (girls) won the team championships.

Ephrata’s Hunter Sears and Bianca Schley won the singles ch ampionships and the Ephrata boys and Selah girls won the team titles at the CWAC District tennis championships in Ephrata.
Quincy’s Ciara Rasmussen placed third in girls singles and Othello’s Jocelyn Cantu and Yanitta Cantu, who defeated Prosser’s Helen Petersen and Karley Crawford 6-0, 6-1 in the battle for the girls doubles’ third-place.
Also moving on to regionals is Grandview boys doubles partnership Abel Pasillas and Stevan Ramirez. Pasillas and Ramirez bounced back from a 6-2 loss to defeat their Othello opponents 6-1, 6-2 and place fifth at the tournament.
