PASCO -- The 50th annual Pasco Invite will feature a slew of special events today to go along with the standard fare.
There will be seven golden events to celebrate the anniversary, including the golden mile, the 100-yard dash, 110-meter high hurdles, the 4x400 relay with golden batons, the long jump, pole vault and javelin. The golden events will have extra scoring and recognition.
The golden mile will be run in connection with the opening ceremony at noon at Pasco's Edgar Brown Stadium.
