KENNEWICK -- The Southridge and Kamiakin softball teams are plenty familiar to each other.
Last year, Southridge beat Kamiakin twice in the regular season, but the Braves got their revenge in the playoffs, eliminating the Suns in the 4A regionals.
On Tuesday at Lawrence Scott Park, in a doubleheader that could go a long way toward determining the CBBN 3A champion, Kamiakin established a three-game winning streak against its intra-city rival, romping 11-2 and 12-0.
"We're ecstatic about beating Southridge," Kamiakin coach Tammy Hutchison said. "They and West Valley are the top competition for us."

Against the Suns, Lindsey Kamphuis struck out 12 and allowed one earned run. She pitched a one-hitter in the nightcap, which the Braves (4-0) wrapped up in five innings.
"She was very focused, and she was hitting her spots," Hutchison said of Kamphuis, a junior right-hander. "She kept them off balance with her changeup and riseball."
Meanwhile, Kamiakin's hitters kept Southridge's pitchers from finding a balance.
The Braves broke open Game 1 with a seven-run fifth inning that put them up 10-2. They had six hits in the frame, including a triple by Krysta Beach, who finished the day 4-for-6 with a homer and four RBIs, and a double by Carlie Richards.
Southridge senior left-hander Caitlin Klepper struggled with her control, giving up a pair of walks and also hitting Melanie Oord twice.
Freshman Sarah Gilliam entered the circle for the Suns (2-2) in the sixth. She also pitched two innings in Game 2 after the Braves scored three runs in the first off starter Janelle Randles.
"She allowed a couple of runs, but she was ready," Southridge coach Eric Weisgerber said of Gilliam. "She carried herself well."
Oord also homered in the second game for Kamiakin and drove in three runs.
Weisgerber didn't need many words to explain his team's performance: "Chalk it up to (the Braves) followed their game plan and we didn't."
