Wapato upsets No. 1 Grandview boys

YAKIMA -- Wapato used a big fourth quarter to upset No. 1 in the state Grandview on Saturday, winning the CWAC district tournament title 47-43 at West Valley High School in Yakima.

Wapato trailed 30-28 heading into the fourth quarter, before outscoring Grandview 19-13 in the final quarter.

The Wolves held the Greyhounds to 27 percent shooting from the field.

Daniel Nielsen's 12 points led Grandview.

Angel Garcia scored 10 second-half points and the Coyotes held off the Eagles in a SCAC consolation game at Toppenish Middle School.

Garcia finished with 11 points and Nathan Roberts scored a game-high 14 points for Columbia-Burbank (12-10).
