Chiawana boys win in Wenatchee

WENATCHEE -- Steven Walter scored 20 points for Chiawana, Jared Jaeger had a game-high 21 points for host Wenatchee as the Riverhawks picked up the CBBN 4A victory by a margin of 57-49.

Miquiyah Zamora scored 13 points for Chiawana and combined with Walter for 15 rebounds.

But it wasn't pretty.

"It was an ugly game," Chiawana coach Chad Herron said, citing turnovers as a primary example of the contest's brutality.
