FINLEY -- Victor Contreras scored 15 of his game-high 17 points in the first half and Justin Grow doled out six assists and scored nine points for River View in a nonleague edging of visiting Liberty Christian by 38-32.

Kurt Simmons and Trevor Phillips evenly split a combined 30 points and Alex Ortiz chucked in 18 more for Hermiston in a home tournament victory over Lewiston.

Zach Bartlow had 20 points for Waitsburg-Prescott in a shellacking of Klickitat at the Helix Tournament.

Dustin Wooderchak had 12 points for W-P and combined with Bartlow and T.J. Hofer for 15 steals. The Cardinals will continue their tournament action today with a 6:30 p.m. matchup against North Powder.
