Richland boys hold on vs. Southridge

RICHLAND -- The Richland Bombers held off a rally by Southridge on Monday, winning the nonleague game 55-53.

Tyrell Turner's 11 points led host Richland, while Calvin Douglas added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Bombers.

Matt Mend-enhall led all scorers with 20 points for Sou-thridge, while Derek Porter had 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Eastmont 62, Pasco 42

Tre Thomas and Darren Spaeth combined for 32 points to lift Eastmont to a CBBN 3A home win over Pasco.

The Bulldogs scored just two points in the first quarter, and the ensuing cushion was too much to overcome. The Wildcats led 32-14 at halftime and pushed it to 43-22 after three quarters.

"They kind of jumped all over us," said Pasco coach Charlie Villanueva. "We just get a little wide-eyed at times. We picked up our game a little in the third quarter and closed to within about 12."
