He threw a four-hit shutout in a 6-0 CBBN Columbia victory over Southridge, striking out two and walking one.


Shelby Kadinger, Sr., Tri-Cities Prep

She shared me-dalist honors at a 9-hole Southeast B match at Can-yon Lakes and was medalist at an 18-hole match at Columbia Point.


Enrique Romero, So., Othello

He had two goals and an assist in a CWAC win over Ephrata and then assisted on B.G. Guzman’s game-winner in handing Quincy its first loss.


Jill McDaniels, Sr., Walla Walla

She went 5-for-6 with three doubles and a homer vs. Eisenhower and 5-for-9 with a double and a triple vs. Kamiakin.


John Talbot, Sr., Liberty Christian

Travis Zuroske, Fr., Richland

They teamed to win the Inland Empire No. 1 boys doubles championship.

Track & Field

Javier Velasco, So., Hermiston

He won the 1,500 meters in 4:18.58 and the 3,000 in 9:29.64 to help the Bulldogs win a dual meet against archrival Pendleton.
