CBBN boys: Wa-Hi advances to regionals

WALLA WALLA -- Colton Arias had a season-high 17 points to go with six rebounds and four steals, leading Walla Walla to its third win over Eisenhower this season -- this time at home 58-52 in the CBBN 4A district tournament.

The win clinched a regional berth for the Blue Devils, who host Davis tonight in a seeding game.

Eisenhower, which played without injured point guard James Lopez (ankle), travels to Southridge tonight for a winner-to-regionals game.

YAKIMA -- Matt Mendenhall had 19 points and six rebounds as Southridge fell at Davis in a CBBN 4A district game.

The Suns, who beat Davis two weeks ago, led 27-18 at halftime but couldn't overcome 24 percent shooting (12-of-49).
