RICHLAND -- Megan Sax took a sideline inbounds pass from Gina Ojeda and scored on a layin with 2.1 seconds left to lift Richland past Pasco 51-50 in a loser-out CBBN 4A district game at Art Dawald Gym.

The win was Richland coach Kristen Davis' first in six playoff games and ended the career of Gonzaga-bound Pasco guard Danielle Walter, who scored 27 points to finish with 1,161 for her career.

"I'm glad to see her go and not me," Davis said. "This is beyond nice."

Sax and Bria Caldwell scored 12 points apiece for the Bombers, who travel to Columbia co-champion Wenatchee for a winner-to-regional game Friday.
