CBBN boys: No. 4 Richland boys escape at Chiawana

Dylan Radliff scored 17 points for Richland, and the No. 4-ranked Bombers held off upset-minded Chiawana 62-54 on Tuesday night in CBBN Cascade play in Pasco.

The teams were tied at 42 going into the fourth quarter, and it was touch-and-go until Richland pulled away in the final three minutes.

It was the second game in a row that the Riverhawks pushed a ranked team on their home court -- they fell by six to No. 7 Walla Walla on Saturday. Jordan Downing had another big night for Chiawana with 17 points and nine rebounds.

Derek Porter hit two 3s in the third quarter on his way to scoring 12 of his game-high 21 points for Southridge in a CBBN Columbia home win over Kennewick.

Reggie Clinton and Trent Brown scored 13 points apiece for the Lions.
