PASCO -- Ana Jimenez and Lauren Walker each had 13 points, but the Columbia Basin College women's basketball team fell out of a tie for first place in the NWAACC East Region with a 56-45 home loss to Yakima Valley on Saturday.
CBC (20-2, 9-2) dropped to second in league behind Spokane, which beat Treasure Valley 75-68.
Mariah Roe went 7-of-7 from the free-throw line to finish with 18 points for Yakima Valley (16-7, 7-4), which is tied with Walla Walla for third in league.
Rose hit three of the Yaks' 10 3-pointers against the Hawks.

YVCC men 84, CBC 69
PASCO -- Jordan Hill had 22 points and Terrell Evans scored 21 to lead Yakima Valley to an 84-69 NWAACC East Region victory at CBC.
Jordon Poynor finished with 12 points for CBC but was the only player in double figures for the Hawks, who fell to 7-15 overall and 4-7 in the East Region.
Yakima Valley (13-9, 6-5) and Walla Walla are tied for third place in league.
Entering Saturday, the Yaks and Walla Walla were in a four-way tie for third with Blue Mountain and Wenatchee Valley.
