PASCO -- Ben Olayinka helped Big Bend rally in the second half to defeat Columbia Basin College 74-70 in Pasco.

The Hawks led 36-34 at intermission, but Olayinka's 23 points and 15 rebounds were too much for CBC.

Jordon Poynor led CBC with 22 points and six rebounds.

BIG BEND -- Brooke 2-5 2-2 7, Garrity 4-13 4-5 13, Pingel 3-10 1-2 10, Olayinka 9-17 5-6 23, Skidmore 6-13 5-6 19, Funston 0-0 0-0 0, Larsen 0-1 0-0 0, Buhler 0-1 2-2 2. Totals 24-60 19-23 74.

PASCO -- The Columbia Basin College women easily coasted to an NWAACC East Region victory over visiting Big Bend, as four Hawks scored in double figures.

Jorie Freeman had 14 points, while Ana Jimenez and Trishi Williams added 12 each, and Kylie Rail came off the bench for 11.

BIG BEND -- D.Lopez 1-6 0-0 2, Morris 6-9 0-0 13, Hirz 1-7 0-0 2, Nielsen 1-8 2-2 4, Martinez 0-4 0-0 0, Neff 2-8 0-0 4, Brown 1-6 1-2 3, M.Lopez 4-9 4-5 12. Totals 16-57 7-9 41.
