CBC women improve to 14-0

PENDLETON -- Ana Jiminez had a game-high 20 points with three treys as the Columbia Basin College women defeated Blue Mountain 79-52 on Saturday in an NWAACC East Region game.

The Hawks raised their league record to 3-0 and to 14-0 overall.

Blue Mountain men 93, CBC 80

PENDLETON -- Jordon Poynor sank three 3-pointers and shot 12-for-17 from the field to garner a game-high 29 points for Columbia Basin, but it wasn't enough to beat Blue Mountain on the road.

Blue Mountain's balanced attack included a team-high 19 points from Sam Grogan, 17 points from Travis Hurley and 14 points apiece from Ryan Strand and Gavin Burt.
