2002 -- Oscar Materano blasted a pair of two-run home runs, the second providing the winning margin in the eighth inning, as the Tri-City Dust Devils topped the Eugene Emeralds 6-5 at pitcher-friendly Tri-Cities Stadium. Materano upped his season home run total to five as Ron Gideon's club won its fourth straight.

* 1992 -- Richland pitcher Ben Templeton sailed through the first six innings before running into trouble in the seventh, but catcher Dave Manthei picked off a runner at first with the bases loaded for the final out to preserve the Knights' 5-4 win over the Yakima Valley Pepsi Pak in Senior Legion baseball. Richland scored all its runs in the bottom of the sixth, the big hit coming on Darrin London's three-run home run.
