* 1978 -- Clutch performances out of Kelvin Smith -- 27 points -- and Shawn Rambo -- 14 points -- proved decisive as the Pasco Bulldogs held off Kennewick 65-60 in Big Nine Conference basketball action.

* 1976 -- Daryl Doward led Columbia Basin with 29 points, Willie Bradford had 19 points,and Dave Harding scored 16 as CBC played tough against a monster Spokane Community College squad, but the Hawks' six-point deficit with seven minutes remaining steadily worsened under an avalanche of free throws in a 95-80 loss to the Sasquatch at Pasco High School.

On Thursday, Reign FC announced their 2019 schedule. It will be the the first season for the franchise in Tacoma and they’ll play their games in Cheney Stadium. The home opener is April 21.
