Just wondering. How many people out there were surprised when Doc announced his endorsement for Mr. Newhouse? Who else would he have dared endorse?
Doc ran his first campaign complaining about the length of time politicians would hold on to their position. He claimed he was in favor of limiting the number of times they could serve. Now 20 years later he is endorsing a person who has already served in Olympia in two different positions to give him another shot.
It seems we have a “fraternity” in Olympia. The seat is passed down from father or mother to son or daughter, or another insider of the same party.
I don’t know much about Mr. Didier. I do know he is not a member of either of the ingrained parties and therefore should not have an agenda that he must embrace and support to keep his job.
That is the reason I am leaning toward voting for the “dark horse” this time around.
