Tony Benegas has my vote in the race for the 8th District State Senate seat. He's been active in state and local politics, but he's not a career politician. As a matter of fact, he worked at Hanford for 20 years and is now a successful small-business owner.
Tony's common-sense approach to government represents a needed change in Olympia. He believes that elected officials are put in office to represent their constituents. He supports legislation that funds education, small-business growth and economic diversity and essential services for all Washingtonians.
Tony Benegas has lived in the Tri-Cities for nearly 30 years. He's raised his family here and his children attended Mid-Columbia schools. He has proved his commitment to our area by volunteering in community service organizations, serving on the West Richland City Council, and working for Benton County Republican Party activities and events. If elected as our next state senator, he won't forget about us or his Tri-City roots.
