Letter: Marijuana is as legal as alcohol

I can only assume that the Franklin County commissioners will shortly be banning all forms of alcohol for sale in the county, so as to be even handed in their treatment of two legal drugs.

I was surprised that they started this banning effort with marijuana, as alcohol is far more addictive and destructive to society than is marijuana, but I’m sure they had their reasons.

I look forward to an even-handed handling of what otherwise could be seen as not fair at all.
