I was at the Pasco Walmart on Aug. 3. I brought some groceries, and took them to a checker who wasn’t busy at the moment, but I didn’t know she didn’t have a scale and I’d bought some peaches.
A lovely lady in green took them to another counter, got them weighed and paid for them. I thought she was getting them for herself but she brought them back to me.
I was using my debit card and don’t carry cash in larger amounts — my daughter was with me in the store and when I told her about it, she said, “See, Mom, there are nice people in the world.”
I hope that nice lady sees this, I really thank her an awful lot. It sure did make my day and then some. I hope I can make it up to her by doing something nice for somebody else. I wish it could be her, who knows, maybe it could happen some day.
