I have been attempting to contact Pasco City Councilman Bob Hoffman. His email link on the City Council webpage is not working and all I get when calling his phone is a busy signal.
I am making the assumption that he is ducking the blowback from his statement in council chambers. Here is the letter that I would like to send to him.
Dear Mr. Hoffman,
I am a taxpayer and voter in Pasco. I read with some dismay, your proposal to weigh in on the controversy over Baronelle Stutzman.

I expect that you will spend your time as my employee, on business that directly concerns the city of Pasco and me. Further, I believe there is no reason to bring your personal beliefs to work with you. Please feel free to practice your faith on your time and not on mine. If you are unable to check your religious beliefs at the door, then I suggest you resign your office.
This issue has been settled and I expect you to act in accordance with the law as written in the RCW. Anything else is unacceptable.
