In a WSU Home & Garden Q&A in our paper, someone’s question was “Can you grow a fig tree here?” The answer was, cold weather can kill them, but you can grow it in a pot and bring it inside.
But you can grow a fig tree outside — I have for years. I imagine there are others here that do too.
I will be glad to show you how. My first ones become ripe around the 20th of August.
