There are still honest people on this Earth.
On Sunday, May 24, one of my granddaughters said she would take me to the cemetery with some flowers for grandpa’s and others’ graves. We drove to Fred Meyer to purchase flowers.
Since I live in a senior living facility, I don’t keep much change in my purse. I told her to hand me my purse and I would give her a signed check to purchase the flowers, which I did. She lost the check crossing the driveway, “the wind blew it away,” she said.
The next day, a lady knocked on my door and handed me my check. She would be panicked if it would have happened to her, so she drove it over here.
I want to thank the lady again and for helping me to have faith in people.
