May 18th at Ron’s Food Mart in Kennewick during lunch time I was buying tea and some peanuts. When I got to the register, I wondered if I had enough for both. To avoid embarrassment, I just asked if I could buy the tea and leave the nuts.
I got out to my vehicle and gathered my change and saw that I did indeed have enough for the nuts as well. I went back into the store and waited in line. The lady who was behind me before when I left the nuts behind, just buying the tea, was in line before me this time. She turned and handed me the nuts and said ... “I bought them for you” ... I told her thank you ... I had no words. I have never had that happen before.
I hope the nice lady who bought me the peanuts is reading this. Thank you for the wonderful and amazing gesture of kindness. It’s so rare these days and wonderful to experience such kindness. I plan on paying it forward when the opportunity arises. And I am sure good things come to people who do kind, selfless things such as this. Thank you.
