In the May 18 Tri-City Herald you mention two names, Bill Vosper and Willa Krogman — two wonderful people on the sports page “Overheard.”
I met them both in my first year of bowling in the late ’50s. Bill was one of the best bowlers around along with Leo Rollick. They were also the best proprietors, with the Marquart family, we ever had.
I worked with Jim, Willa’s husband. He and Russ Wodehouse got me to bowl with their team in the PLUTO League for shift workers. Willa was the best, such a high back swing. Another woman, Julia Eldridge, a great bowler and even a better teacher. Not many of us around that know them. A privilege ... thank you so much for who was responsible for that article.
