W. Richland hardware store
I have lived in the West Richland area for more than 50 years.
I keep hearing residents that say, "Keep it rural." That is fine, but we are letting our main drive dry up and become a ghost town
Drive down Van Giesen Street and many buildings are closed, grounds and buildings gone to seed.
Not all our growth can go up on Bombing Range Road. We need to take pride in our main street also. To me "rural" means looking out for neighbors and taking pride and care in our places.
A hardware store is a smart move, and I am happy to see a local business that wants to expand into West Richland. It beats a vacant lot.
