In regard to Stephen Linton's letter on June 5, the younger generations, as well as quite a few of the older generations, do not know what it means to be courteous.
Examples include hats on inside restaurants and other establishments, kids running around unsupervised and, as stated in the letter, no one seems to know how to say please or thank you.
As a society, everyone basically only cares about himself. It's few and far between that you will find a person who knows proper courtesies and etiquette.
