Roger Lenk never ceases to amaze me with his generalizations about the annexation of west Pasco. He obviously cannot use any facts because facts do not exist with his "new city" and his "imagined" guidelines for conduct.
The only thing I have ever seen or heard at any of his meetings is what he thinks would work and what he would like to see happen. Where are his plans, his budget, his governance proposal and his facts?
He attempts to frighten the property owners with schemes of future development. The citizens already know and fully understand that zoning changes would require a zoning committee, whether it is the city of Pasco, a new concoction of a city or Franklin County.
Is Lenk suggesting that his new city would already have a pre-disposed mindset that would automatically reject any proposals that do not meet the "Roger Lenk Criteria"? Who is he to speak for the others who may desire a different approach?
I find it amusing that Lenk does not live in the city yet he has challenged the city's form of government. I find it even more amusing that he does not live in the recently annexed portion of west Pasco, yet he is petitioning to have the annexation reversed. There must be other cities in which Lenk does not reside that he could harass with his grand ideas. Please!
