The basic fault with those claiming their religious freedom is being attacked is they seem to think their "freedom" consists of being able to make more difficult or restrict others from doing something legal.
No one in the United States is being forced to practice birth control or marry someone of the same sex. And no one in the United States is being denied the right to worship when and where they choose.
The idea one's religious beliefs can be imposed on others not holding those beliefs is pernicious indeed and inconsistent with the concept of individual freedom.
