Even though 63 percent of the voters in Benton County and 69 percent of the voters in Franklin County voted against legalizing homosexual marriage, the editors of the Tri-City Herald appeared to think that the readers in the Mid-Columbia would be interested in reading not just one but two front page stories featuring star-crossed homosexual lovers getting married.
While one story could possibly qualify as human interest, two front page stories in the same week sound like an agenda is being pushed. How about equal time for those of us who are mourning the redefinition of marriage and who are eyeing this ill-conceived social experiment with concern and dread.
I can't wait for the first lawsuit claiming discrimination against people of conscience for refusing to support homosexual marriage. It's only a matter of time. Who'll be imposing their views on others then, hmmm?
