The passing of Obamacare was, to me, an outrage. It is nothing more than presidential extortion. It says that everyone must purchase health care, or pay a fine in the form of a penalty tax. But, I'm on disability, receiving only very limited monthly income and can't afford it. So now I'll probably have to pay some kind of penalty tax. But it stands to reason that if I can't pay for health insurance, then I can't pay the penalty tax either. So now I'm probably looking at jail time for not paying the penalty tax.
Does this mean that I'll get free health care while in jail? Because if I'm denied any health care while in custody, then it amounts to "cruel and unusual punishment." And if there are millions of others in this country like me who can't afford health insurance, or the penalty tax, and will probably also go to jail for the same reasons, will Obama build new prisons to house us all? And provide free health care to those new "inmates?" Or will he just build a wall around the United States to keep all of us in, simply because we're poor?
I don't think this character really thought this health care plan through very well.
