The problem is partisan politics. We are unable to muddle through the demographic demagoguery of any issue with any chance of disseminating and acting on what is true. And the truth is: Keynesian economic theory is a failure that results in economic collapse. We are fighting wars and killing people in order to fund those who make those tools of war because of that flawed theory. And as a nation, (because of the German philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche) our moral compass has no true north. And all of these issues are for sale. Another result of the corruption of free enterprise.
Is this the legacy we want to leave to our grandchildren? Do we want to say to our nieces and nephews, "Well, Snoop Dogg thought it was a good idea." I should hope not.
As a 37-year-old father of two, I would like to say to all of America, "Get your act together!" At this point, our obligations far exceed our Social Security benefits. As it stands today, my 2-year-old owes about $50,000. I find that to be unacceptable, how about you?
