Gas prices are on the rise! Why? No one seems to have an answer to this mystery. This is probably the most frequently asked question to the Tri-City Herald over recent years. A mystery on par with the creation of the Great Pyramids.
After watching the Sunday morning "think tank" wizards on two of the major networks, I arrived at a remarkable solution. On one network, the brain trust stated that additional refineries and even the Keystone project would have no effect on the gas prices. Channel flip to the other network, and there the super intellects were telling us the prices were rising because of speculation.
Solution 1: Don't do anything to produce and modernize. Solution 2: Get a bunch of speculators to speculate low prices. Boy would my dad roll over in his grave. We truly do deserve what we are getting.
