What's wrong with justice today? I am just absolutely offended by the news story of Phiengchai Sisouvanh's wanting a new trial because the mental health expert was not sensitive to her Laotian culture.
I just can't believe this lady. She had her chance in court in front of a jury of her peers and she lost. She had hotshot Seattle attorneys defending her that most average people wouldn't be able to get. She gets a case before the state Supreme Court. What a joke.
The Majority of Asian people living in Washington and in the rest of the United States are great people who do not commit crimes. Asians only account for 1 percent of U.S population in U.S. jails. This lady represents just 1 percent of the bad apples in the bunch. The Asians I have met are good people.
We are wonderful people with a great culture. This lady has insulted my culture. This lady wouldn't be in trouble If she didn't do the crime. It was DNA evidence that did her in. Her being Asian was not relevant. If this lady has DNA evidence to overturn her conviction, she has a right to do so. But if she doesn't, I want her to quit wasting taxpayer money and insulting the jury and insulting me about being not treated right because she is Asian.
