Benton auditor: Chilton

July 20, 2010 09:29 AM

I highly recommend that Brenda Chilton, our current Benton County auditor, be retained. I have known her for many years. She has excellent knowledge of and experience in all aspects of the Auditor’s Office. She is knowledgeable and fully qualified to continue to lead and manage all four departments of the organization.

She has demonstrated strong leadership skills while serving as president of several different types of organizations (e.g., a service club, a professional organization and a county political party).

Brenda is a person of strong character, exhibiting great integrity, personal responsibility, reliability and is an excellent team player. She maintains a friendly, caring attitude with subordinates and customers.

She has devoted the time and effort to become certified in many of the disciplines required within the Auditor Office.

Finally, she has a long record of serving as a member of several professional organizations in an effort to keep abreast of the latest laws, and learn new techniques in the various disciplines for which she is responsible.

Clearly, Brenda has the knowledge, experience and temperament required to efficiently and effectively lead our Auditor Office as our county continues to grow and prosper.

Please join me in voting for Brenda Chilton as Benton County auditor.
